Life of Heinrich Albert
Heinrich Albert was born 1870 in Würzburg and lived for a long period in Gauting, where he died in 1950. In the first half of last century his compositions could be found in concerto programs of all well-known guitarists. More than 200 concerts made him an important pioneer of the artistic guitar play. He left a capacious compilation of compositions and a schoolbook, wich instructed generations of young guitar players.
