The "Gelas-Guitar"
Heinrich Albert played a "Gelas-Guitar" made by the Parisienne guitarist Lucien Gelas. These guitars have a double sounding board, which was used also with lutes and mandolins.
In April 1914 Albert buys his first Gelas-Guitar, for 150 fr.
He attached to it big importance for his success. It followed more Gelas-kind guitars, in which construction he incorporated own modifications.
